Deutsche Messe AG Visitor Services: Deutsche Messe AG in Hanover is one of the leading trade fair organizers worldwide. With CeBIT and the Hanover Trade Fair, Deutsche Messe AG organises the world’s largest trade fairs for capital goods. The Visitor Services division coordinates, among other things, all activities related to the electronic registration of visitors to the trade fairs.
The projects:
- Phase 2 of an as-is analysis and to-be requirements for the electronic trade fair visitor registration processes at DMAG. Definition of the visitor lifecycle process which provides the foundation for the technical concept and detailed requirements specification for a pilot project of the future visitor database.
- Creation of a requirements specification for implementing a visitor CRM platform and development of a customer lifecycle-oriented universal communications roadmap.
Objectives and results:
- Development of the future visitor communications strategy in Best Practice Workshops
- Documentation of all the requirements in the form of requirements specifications, interface descriptions and other related documents
- Recommendations regarding the underlying processes and responsibilities as well as the associated need for changes
- Preparation of a decision paper on the organisational changes within DMAG that are needed in order to realise a successful visitor CRM platform
